About the CPD course

This course offers an introduction to working with older autistic people; aimed at those who are new to the sector or who have not received any other autism training. This course also includes those who are involved in transporting and caring for older autistic people; for example drivers; passenger assistants and independent living staff new to transporting and interacting with autistic older people. This course covers sensory issues; consistency; heading off crises and general communication issues. This course is a good introduction to autism awareness on a wider scale.
