The IMHCF Level 1 training provides foundational knowledge and skills for staff working with infants and their parent/s/caregivers. It covers essential aspects of promoting healthy infant development; drawing from research; theory; and evidence-based practice. Participants will learn to recognize needs in pregnant individuals and babies; promote infant mental health; and access appropriate evidence-based treatments when necessary. This training aims to elevate standards of care by equipping all staff with fundamental competencies to support families effectively during pregnancy and the first two years of a baby's life.
DorPIP is an established community parent-infant relationship service, specialising in empowering families and professionals with invaluable insights into infant mental health and parent-infant relationships throughout the crucial initial 1001 days of parenthood. We offer therapeutic-led services direct to families in our area. For professionals extend Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunities to early years professionals nationally.
