During this training participants will be taking part in discussion-based activities to help them define emotional well-being and explore strategies to enable them to better support developing children’s emotional well-being. Information presented allows learners to explore trauma–informed practice in small groups; working together in these groups to start to build an emotional well-being policy for their own settings.
The Early Years Alliance is the largest and most representative early years membership organisation in England. We support early years providers to deliver quality, affordable and sustainable care and learning to families, and work to ensure that all children, regardless of background, are given the best possible start in life. The Alliance’s vision is a society where every child enjoys the same opportunity to learn through play. We believe families should be at the centre of policy-making and parents empowered to become more involved with their child’s learning and development.
