During this course participants will be able to define mental health and well-being through activities and group discussion. Through participating in shared information attendees can expect to be able to better identify factors that negatively impact on the well-being of staff and other leaders. Resources provided allow attendees to reflect on the reasons why a mental health and well-being policy helps to meet the requirements of leaders and managers in early years.
The Early Years Alliance is the largest and most representative early years membership organisation in England. We support early years providers to deliver quality, affordable and sustainable care and learning to families, and work to ensure that all children, regardless of background, are given the best possible start in life. The Alliance’s vision is a society where every child enjoys the same opportunity to learn through play. We believe families should be at the centre of policy-making and parents empowered to become more involved with their child’s learning and development.
