About the CPD course
This asbestos awareness training course complies with Regulation 10 of the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 and is essential for individuals who may encounter asbestos at work. As a Category A course; it provides training to increase awareness of asbestos properties; the health impacts of asbestos exposure; potential locations where asbestos and asbestos-containing materials can be found; the relevant legislation; and safe practices to avoid exposure. While this course does not qualify participants to work with asbestos; it equips them with the knowledge to recognise potential risks and seek professional help when necessary.
