About the CPD course

This programme is designed for healthcare professionals who currently manage people with Diabetes and wish to refresh their skills. Delivered as two 2-hour facilitated online workshops with research and quality initiatives to be undertaken between sessions; the course combines group discussions; peer review and best practice development. With a focus on Type 2 Diabetes; this course will equip learners with a range of non-pharmacological strategies to support patients to self-manage their condition; as well as exploring pharmacological interventions and recent innovations in Diabetes care. Familiarity with relevant national guidelines and local formularies will be an asset.
