About the CPD course

This module will help managers understand the area of employment law relating to dealing with grievance issues and covers how to recognise a grievance; the process and steps to follow and some of the problem areas you may come across. It will also explain the roles and responsibilities and the importance of following both the ACAS code and your company's internal policies and procedures. It also provides you with a checklist to assist you in reaching a decision. What the course includes: Why it is important to follow a grievance process; The statutory right to be accompanied; Initial considerations when a grievance is raised; The formal grievance process; Workplace mediation and when to use it; Problem areas and Case studies.
