About the CPD course
Pipetting Academy covers the correct use of all manual & electronic pipettes & dispensers in the laboratory according to ISO 8655-2022 & ISO 17025 (UKAS); as required by ISO 15189 & GxP; including calibration checks & routine pipette maintenance. The pipetting of "problem" liquids is featured including: biological fluids; viscous reagents; foaming liquids; solvents & buffers to minimise the risk of errors. All participants take a practical test of their pipetting skills using the latest analytical balances & associated data reduction software. Successful participants receive a Pipetting Academy Certificate of Competence.
