About the CPD course

As dementia cases rise throughout the UK; this Dementia Awareness Course aims to provide a greater awareness of the neurodegenerative syndrome. Over 850;000 people currently live with dementia in the UK; and the NHS predicts that this number will increase to 1 million by 2025. The topics covered in this online training will allow learners to identify what dementia is and recognise the signs and symptoms of the condition. This Dementia Awareness Course is for anyone who works in the health and social care sector and works with service users who require care of some sort.
