The Drug Information Fellowship at FADIC is a 12-month program designed to prepare the pharmacy professional interested in a drug/medical information career. Fellows will learn by project-based learning through various practice settings; such as; Drug information resources; Medication management and use; Medication safety; Evidence-based medicine; Research Methodology; Medication therapy management; Patient Education; Antimicrobial guidelines; Teaching and learning. The program also includes opportunities to gain experiences in pharmacy development and education/academia through precepting experiences at the pharmacy practice. Finally; the fellow will also have the option to obtain a teaching certificate.
FADIC is a professional health care organization to support pharmacy practice in the Middle East, offering Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs).
It was founded in October 2014 to provide free resources and certifications for clinical pharmacists.
