About the CPD course

This course aims to improve practice around racial; religious and other forms of prejudice and inclusion; equip people with the knowledge and confidence for meaningful dialogue; and; equip organisations to better account for difference in the delivery of their services. It explores how different identities affect lived experiences; how bias and prejudice are formed; how people are racialised and how racism works both socially and structurally. It also covers ideas around representation; intersectionality and privilege.

Faiths Against Child Sexual Exploitation (FACES)

We're a Luton based and volunteer-led Christian and Muslim partnership that’s been working to strengthen resilience in faith communities and enhance child sexual exploitation (CSE) awareness since 2016. We focus on offering training, running youth workshops and challenging misleading and damaging messages in the CSE discourse. As a faith-based organisaiton, we centre our values of compassion, justice, and peace throughout our work.
