About the CPD course

This CPD-accredited course covers the foundations of exercise addiction; in 90 minutes. Delivered over Microsoft Teams; this interactive workshop explains what we mean by an exercise compulsion; who might experience this; and how it can impact different Eating Disorders. We also discuss the situations where a preoccupation with healthy living and so-called gym culture might become unhealthy for the individual. This course is aimed at professionals working with adults or children who could be at risk of developing disordered eating; such as those who work in the health and fitness industry; or students who would like to learn more about the topic. It is not indented for use by qualified ED practitioners.
