About the CPD course

Provides staff who work in social care with sufficient knowledge to enable the safe & effective administration of PRN medication. Delivered by a pharmacist or healthcare professional; the module includes what a PRN is; care plans; PRN Protocols; documentation of PRNs inc. the 6 rights of administration; points to consider; reviewing PRNs; discontinuing PRNs & the different types of PRNs including anxiety; insomnia; vomiting; pain & indigestion. The module is approximately 2 hours in duration; a workbook is provided & a certificate on successful completion of the multi-choice assessment.
