About the CPD course
This co-learning session provides an introduction to the experiences and views of children and young people from Armed Forces and Veteran Families communities. This introduction module will discuss service life and culture and policy that impacts children and young people from this community. The co-learning space will provide opportunities for participants to learn from each other and to reflect on the information provided by young people.
Our vision is to make Scotland a place where all children and young people, from serving personnel, reservist and veteran families can thrive, fully realise their potential and aspire towards a wide range of positive futures. We aim to achieve our vision by becoming the sector leading children and young people’s Armed Forces charity; by listening to their experiences and responding to the many unique challenges faced by providing empowering opportunities and amplifying their voices to inspire lasting change.
