About the CPD course

Sexual Orientation & Gender Identity are evolving concepts with new developments as our understanding of the concepts expand. If we are to be truly inclusive: promote equity and celebrate diversity we must acknowledge this evolution: gain an understanding of the individuals in this community and create environments for members of the community to be their authentic self. This course will highlight key terms related to LGBTQ+ Gender Identity: highlight legislation that has impacted and continues to impact on their rights and freedoms and explore some of the challenges that members of the LGBTQ+ community face as a result of prejudice and discrimination.
