The ICU pathway e-learning features 6 modules each exploring various aspects of nutrition in critical care. Module 1 explores the role of the critical care environment and the nutritional impact of clinical management and treatment. Module 2 provides an overview of critical care nutrition including timing and route of feeding based on national and international guidelines. Modules 3 and 4 cover protein and energy requirements including guidelines for appropriate provision. Module 5 discusses nutritional monitoring and Module 6 focuses on nutritional rehabilitation post-critical care. Quiz questions within each module enhance the learning experience and allow learners to evaluate their understanding.
