About the CPD course
Many people associate pressure sores with older age adults however Children can also develop these. A child who is at risk of developing a pressure wound or ulcer may have numerous risk factors and this course enables residential care both to be able to identify these and them to put in place a care plan to prevent them. This is a half day course covering the basics of Pressure wounds; risk factors; prevention and promotion of healing. It is aimed at Children Residential and Care Services.
