About the CPD course

The objective of the course is to enable delegates to meet the legal requirements of the electricity at work regulations 1989 in respect of safe isolation of electrical equipment and competence to prevent danger and injury. On completion of the course delegates will have a thorough understanding of the following: An overview of the principles of H&S legislations and its relevance to the EAWR 1989; Overview and understanding of EAWR 1989. Develop an understanding of the requirements of HSG 85. The concept of ‘competence in electrical work’. An understanding of the requirements of GS38. How to carry out safe isolation of electrical circuits and the process to achieve it.
