Neurodiversity- Identification; Referral; Communication with Parents and Effective strategies: for Mainstream schools

This course explores neurodiversity; encompassing the diverse range of human brains and minds. It aims to aid mainstream teachers in comprehending and assisting children with varying neurological conditions. Key aspects include grasping the identification and referral procedures; enhancing communication with parents; and employing evidence-based strategies for classroom support. By delving into neurodiversity's significance in mainstream education; participants will gain knowledge on autism; ADHD; dyslexia; dyscalculia; and developmental coordination disorder. Additionally; they will acquire effective communication techniques; discover classroom strategies; and explore best practices for teaching and supporting neurodivergent students in mainstream schools.
