A Peripheral I.V. Cannulation Course consisting of online learning (Part 1 theory) followed by either a classroom or virtual classroom skill-based training session (Part 2 practicals). Covers all aspects of skill set development up to the point of cannulating in either a medical/healthcare setting or aesthetic therapy. Training includes a thorough understanding of sites appropriate for IV cannulation; hygiene & infection prevention & control; indications & advantages; equipment used; vein of choice; legal & professional responsibilities; procedures and potential complications that can occur.
