This presentation will provide an overview of how existing and recent government legislation; including the Fire Safety Act; Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022 and the Building Safety Act 2022 have impacted fire doorsets in housing; in particular HRRBs; and what to consider when delivering fire doorset compliance. It touches upon specification – how energy-efficient retrofit can be achieved with fire doorsets whilst maintaining high levels of fire safety performance; maintenance considerations to assist with product integrity; traceability and regulatory oversight.
