Definition; pathophysiology; triggers; Prevalence & Burden – COPD Module 1 is the first module of a series of EducAIR modules. The module discusses the definition of COPD as a disease; its pathophysiology; what the triggering factors are; Global prevalence and burden data. The goal of this module is to help HCPs in primary care to update their knowledge in understanding COPD as a disease and how to diagnose and differentiate it from other respiratory conditions; and accordingly this will reflect on their ability in helping patients.
