About the CPD course

Crisis intervention training covers a wide range of critical topics; such as Deprivation of Liberty of Children; Liberty Protection Safeguards; Child Sexual Exploitation; County Lines; Child Trafficking; and Modern Slavery; as well as Child Neglect. It addresses crisis and trauma in children; understanding self-harm in children and young people; promoting positive behaviour; and creating awareness about the Prevent Duty. The training equips participants; including mental health professionals; law enforcement; and first responders; with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively respond to these challenging situations; protect vulnerable children; and offer appropriate support and resources for their well-being and safety.
