About the CPD course

This training course is designed to support care team leaders and seniors with their role; It will cover; Your role as a senior/ team leader; How to complete care plans; The Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty; How to complete risk assessments; The out-of-hours procedure; Compliance; On satisfactory completion of this course you will have an understanding of your role as a team leader in the care industry; how to successfully complete a care plan and risk assessment; knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty; and how to successfully communicate with service users; staff and other professionals in your role. This course is split into two sections; Section 1 will overview the main responsibilities of a team leader; focussing on completing care packages (including communication and the Mental Capacity Act) Section 2 will cover the other key responsibilities of a team leader such as risk assessments; compliance; and the out of hours procedure.
