About the CPD course
This course gives you a deep understanding of the mechanics of green; social and sustainability bonds; from the big picture policy context to introducing the underlying drivers of market development; main product features and regulation. It explores the Green and Social Bond Principles; the Sustainability Bond Guidelines and the new Sustainability-Linked Bond Principles and explain how they work in practice; including evaluation and selection of eligible projects for funding; the role of external reviewers and guidance on reporting.
ICMA is a not-for-profit membership association, headquartered in Switzerland, that serves the needs of its wide range of member firms in global capital markets. As of March 2020, ICMA has around 600 members in 62 countries.
Among its members are private and public sector issuers, banks and securities houses, asset managers and other investors, capital market infrastructure providers, central banks, law firms and others.
