About the CPD course
This module is designed to help all key Dynamic Positioning (DP) personnel maintain their technical knowledge of the latest industry guidance and operational best practices and to meet the requirements for revalidation of The Nautical Institute DPO certification. The module includes the role of the IMO from a DP perspective; Responsibilities and procedures; operational planning and decision support tools; DP annual and 5 yearly trials and an introduction to position reference systems.
