DEI At Work: Performing Arts

Online Course Jackafal

About the CPD course

This course dives into several crucial discussions around Diversity, Equity and Inclusion when working in the performing arts. Exploring a range of case studies and examples from disciplines such as dance, music and theatre, we examine DEI in the initial planning stages of casting and programming, in preparation and rehearsal, and finally during performance itself. By the end of this course, you will be able to plan performance programmes with DEI in mind, improve your approach to inclusion with other performers and crew, and help audiences and performers to feel represented and included in performance spaces.
