Good Practice in Volunteer Management - Support and Supervision
Jewish Volunteering Network
About the CPD course
Ensuring volunteers are recruited to roles that match their skills and interests is essential to a successful placement. A good induction process and on going supervision will allow the volunteer to grow and develop into the role. As a participant you will work with your peers to understand the skills needed for successful volunteer recruitment in your organisation; taking into account the volunteers' needs and those of the organisation. Areas covered will include identifying opportunities; creating role outlines; recruitment; induction; supervision and health and safety.
Our efforts are dedicated to ensure that every person, regardless of age, gender, ability and personal circumstances, is empowered and encouraged to volunteer, thereby enhancing the fabric of the charity sector and the local, Jewish and wider community.
We aim to be the number one volunteering places and space for the Jewish and wider community.
