About the CPD course
Leaders and practitioners are often unaware of the impact their biases have on decision making and practice; at best biases inhibit decisions that will enable high quality service and delivery. At worst they result in poor outcomes; injustice and entrenched structural inequalities. Through stories; evidence and personal reflection this course will help participants understand structural racism; biases and their impact through an intersectional lens. It will deepen delegates cultural self-awareness; provide a brave space to develop resilience and emotional intelligence and share actions to take to pro-actively drive racial equity and inclusion through their work with diverse staff and stakeholders.
