Grief and Bereavement Therapy

This online course will help you develop an understanding of grief and bereavement concepts; the role of the bereavement counsellor; and counselling approaches and techniques in counselling. You will learn the beliefs that people have about death and dying and how a child and adolescent views death. In addition; this online course will equip you with a broad knowledge of spirituality and religion; the process of dying; and the stages of grief. This course will also teach you the counselling process and ailments related to grief and bereavement. By the end of the course; you will have some knowledge of counselling techniques; attitudes towards death and the difference between sadness and depression; types of depression; and their diagnosis.
