About the CPD course
The Emotional Ecology programme empowers participants to recognize and address systemic oppression and structural inequities; fostering a deeper understanding of their impact on communities. It enhances cultural awareness and explores identity-based dynamics; offering insights into intersectional gaps and inequities. Participants will learn practical tools to navigate the complexities of systems and structures; addressing health inequalities and driving meaningful change. Reflective and embodiment practices cultivate self-awareness and emotional intelligence; encouraging the integration of feeling alongside thinking for effective community engagement. By promoting cross-sector collaboration and co-creating inclusive; community-driven solutions; the programme supports transformative change while balancing personal and collective wellbeing.
Founded by Amanda Davis, a Mental Health Nurse, Liminal Connections is dedicated to educating individuals and practitioners in equitable and person-centred emotional and mental health, with a focus on social, cultural, and racial healing. Amanda's work empowers people to reclaim the lost or misplaced parts of themselves and their heritage, wholeness and resilience in the face of emotional vulnerability caused by developmental, ancestral, or socio-economic differences. Liminal Connections works with practitioners and individuals of all backgrounds and current circumstances by offering inclusivity and sliding scale payments, and intentionally honours the lived experiences of all people the Global Majority, including BIPOC and mixed/dual heritage individuals.
