Online Course Connectd

About the CPD course

The purpose of this course is to understand the role and responsibilities of a non-executive director and to understand how to develop the skills; the behaviours and the strategic skills in order to become an effective non executive director. Participants will learn how to differentiate between the legal responsibilities of a board adviser and those of a non executive director. They will then be able to make an informed decision about the direction of their career path within start ups; either as a non executive director or as a board adviser or a combination of both.

Connectd

Connectd is a platform created to solve some of the biggest issues faced by start-ups, investors and NEDs. The Connectd eco-system helps organisations and individuals find each other no matter what stage they are at in their journey: If you’re a pre-revenue start-up, at Series A, or gearing up to acquisition; If you’re looking for your first SEIS investment or are representing a large VC fund; Or if you’re an experienced NED looking for a paid role, or an executive looking to transition to your first. The Connectd founders have raised millions for start-ups; founded start-ups that have been acquired; invested in start-ups/scaleups; and have placed 100’s of NEDs across the globe.
