About the CPD course

This course will provide students with a comprehensive understanding of self-care strategies; line of authority; and the role of multidisciplinary teams in healthcare. Students will also learn about fluid and electrolyte imbalances; blood gases; seizures; cardiac tamponade; diabetes; sepsis; and respiratory problems such as pleural effusion; oedema; embolism; pneumonia; and respiratory distress. Additionally; students will gain knowledge on delivering oxygen therapy and mechanical ventilator; as well as mechanical support options like IABP and dialysis. The course will also cover topics on cellulitis and compartment syndrome; providing students with the necessary skills to effectively manage these conditions in a clinical setting.
