About the CPD course
System Reflect equips attendees with the essentials of strength-based practice. These include the ability to cultivate trusting relationships with individuals experiencing difficult life transitions to provide bespoke person-led support and therefore to empower them. This course explores the issues with conventional support systems in the public and third sector that view their service users as ‘problems’ in need of fixing. It invites attendees to think differently: by viewing individuals on their own terms as social beings and equals who possess meaningful ambitions and assets. It introduces basic features of strength-based coaching relationships and develops attendees’ potential to catalyse systemic change.
Platfform Wellbeing provides training around mental health, workplace wellbeing support and counselling to organisations and individuals across the UK. We offer in-person and online workshops, longer form courses and bespoke training all delivered by our team of experienced psychologists, workplace experts and counsellors.
Platfform Wellbeing is the social enterprise arm to Platfform, the charity for mental health and social change. Our training and counselling approach is based on the expertise we have gathered in our 30+ years as a mental health charity and encourages organisations to work relationally to foster compassionate leadership where staff can thrive.
