HACCP

HACCP is to food hygiene (food safety) as risk assessment is to health and safety. This training programme teaches the critical control points ("CCP") specific to health and social care food safety. It teaches a straightforward and sector specific approach to the hazard analysis ("HA") geared to manage those critical control points. What could be a dull and boring topic is carefully brought to life to motivate and engage with health and social care workers to prevent food safety problems rather than cure them. Thus; those receiving a health or social care service are better fed; more safely fed and their qualities of life are enhanced.
