Osteoporosis

A disproportionate amount of time and resources given to health and social care is to the aged over 75's. 50% of the over 75's are affected by osteoporosis to a lesser of greater degree. Yet; health authorities; sector regulators; sector skills agencies do not require this to be taught. MH SCTV sees one of its roles as pioneering and stimulating skills development in areas where others haven't but should be. Our delivery of this training resource to the sector is an example of that because it makes a difference to the lives of vulnerable individuals receiving health or social care services.
