About the CPD course
Relationships are essential for academic and emotional growth. Participants will learn the purpose of attachment behaviours; when they are used and how patterns of attachment develop. Participants will feel confident to identify and meet the needs of learners displaying attachment difficulties. They will gain an understanding of how attachments patterns are driven by anxiety; how to reduce this anxiety for individual learners; how to support learners to feel more secure and how this can lead to improved behaviours in the classroom. Participants will also have time to consider their own attachment styles and how these impacts on others around them.
