This course focusses on understanding and addressing the multi-sensory needs of students; particularly those with sensory processing disorders and other learning challenges. Participants will explore the principles of sensory integration and how different sensory modalities—visual; auditory; tactile; and more—impact learning and behaviour. The course offers practical strategies for creating sensory-friendly environments; designing multi-sensory learning activities; and tailoring interventions to meet individual sensory needs. Through case studies; hands-on activities; and evidence-based practices; educators will learn to support students in achieving better focus; engagement; and academic success.
