This CPD certified ABI Awareness training aims to: Raise awareness of Acquired Brain Injury (ABI). Help participants gain a better understanding of the brain and its functions. Help participants better support someone who is affected by ABI. This training is specifically targeted at those who support people affected by ABI. This includes those working in Health & Social Care; legal services; Criminal Justice System and higher education. This engaging and interactive training will give delegates a solid foundation knowledge of the brain; ABI; its common effects and how to better support someone that is affected.
Here at P.A.U.L For Brain Recovery we provide support and guidance for people affected by acquired brain injury (ABI). We work with each person to help them reach their full potential and overcome the subsequent challenges at different stages of their recovery. All of our activities, whether it be in a one to one or group setting, aim to give service users the tools to manage the challenges of daily living following brain injury, thus helping them avoid falling in to crisis. We pride ourselves on enabling service users to take ownership of their own recovery journey.
