Effective Analysis of Communications Data

This five-day course is designed for law-enforcement analysts (also suitable for researchers and investigators in other fields). It will enable delegates to apply analytical techniques to communications-data; and to use that analysis for operational purposes. The course will: explain the processes and legislation that govern the acquisition and use of comms-data; interpret and integrate this comms-data with other operational-data (information; digital-media; evidence) to build processes/products that will aid investigative teams; recognise the threats and opportunities that comms-data pose to investigations; and define the role of the analyst in the courtroom particularly relating to the evidential use of comms-data.
