About the CPD course

The Food Hygiene Awareness course provides a basic understanding of good food hygiene practices; focusing on the four C’s: Cross Contamination; Cleaning; Chilling; and Cooking. Episode 1 covers hand washing; preventing cross contamination; and pest control. Episode 2 emphasises good hygiene; safe food preparation; and the effects of harmful bacteria. It also explores proper chilling; cooking; and reheating techniques. This bite-sized course includes best practices in food preparation and handling food allergens.
