About the CPD course
This training workshop gives you real-life insight into effectively delivering an inclusive welcome – a welcome that makes visitors feel included irrespective of their background. An inclusive welcome is pivotal so that visitors have a positive experience and want to return. This training will empower you and give you the tools to navigate and succeed in your role. From learning about how to recognise and mitigate unconscious bias to tackling difficult visitor conversations to learning about being resilient and developing a growth mindset whilst carrying out your role. This training will equip you with the key equality; diversity and inclusion tools.
PILAA is a visual content and educational agency, that specializes in creating original video work, photography, digital and real-time installations, for socially engaged projects dealing with issues around race, sex, class and cultural politics. Fundamental to our practice is the desire to shatter stereotypes and challenge perceptions through action and learning.
Our educational service provides clients with knowledge and understanding of how to unlock the bigger picture, through our image analysis methodologies. We deconstruct and reconstruct the language of images and subsequent visual cutures encoded with meaning, through theoretical research and visual arts practice.
