About the CPD course
The issue of diversity is more than just about race; however; this training is focussed on race as many organisations struggle with this specific aspect of Equity; Diversity and Inclusion. Throughout the course we will look at the often-invisible structural barriers that stop racial diversity becoming a reality; and we will help participants to understand how becoming a culturally sensitive organisation will break down barriers to engaging with people they work with.

Power The Fight is an award-winning charity which aims to be the conduit between communities and policy makers (see our Community Empowerment Cycle diagram above). We create co-produced/co-designed long-term strategies for sustainable structural change. Most of our work is with young people, families, schools, local authorities, faith groups and community organisations who want to be equipped to engage with youth violence issues in their context.
