About the CPD course

This e-learning course is aimed at GPs; nurse; rescribers; PCN and practice pharmacists and pharmacy technicians; medicines optimisation teams and community pharmacists. The course has nine modules including the self-management and pharmacological treatment of asthma; asthma guidelines; the use of high dose steroids and steroid cards; review and follow-up and the COVID-19 pandemic for people with asthma. There's also two practical case studies covering the management of asthma in an adult and a child. It includes end of module quizzes and a final assessment with a pass mark of 70% being required to complete the course and receive a certificate.
