Constructing Knowledge for Lifelong Learning: Active learning

This training workshop has been designed to meet teachers’ needs in light of the transformations taking place in the learning and teaching process where teaching and learning occurs through engaging activities. Learners should become more active in the teaching and learning process as they are responsible for constructing their knowledge; developing their skills; reflecting on their learning continuously and processing new information. Therefore the activities in this workshop are designed to motivate participants to find and elicit the meaning of active learning; its importance and different effective active learning strategies and techniques by engaging them in interactive activities.
