The course will teach the learner the signs: the believed causal factors of CAPVA and the impact that this has on the young person and their family. The course shares definitions: prevalence: theories: risk factors and case studies to inform learning and is for anybody who would like to learn more about this topic. An introduction to Child and Adolescent to Parent Violence and Abuse is written by Respect: the pioneering organisation behind the flagship intervention “Respect Young Peoples Programme” which supports families experiencing Child to Parent Violence and Abuse.
