Although the HSE have reported a reduction in injuries to construction and industrial workers on site in recent years; occupational health issues remain prevalent across the sector. In this presentation; you will learn the importance of developing a health-conscious culture on site. We will discuss the definition of occupational hygiene; how the Hierarchy of Control can be used correctly and effectively; and the psychology behind behavioural decisions. We will also take you through the MIM Model; the Swiss Cheese Model and recommend tangible actions that you can put in place to promote a health-conscious culture on your site.
