About the CPD course

It is a condition of the Licensing Act 2003 that all licensed premises have an Age Verification policy in relation to the sale and supply of alcohol. The aim of this course is to provide learners with the knowledge and understanding of issues surrounding age verification to allow them to comply with the law. This course relates to all sectors of the licensing industry and is suitable for learners in Scotland; England and Wales. This course will ensure you understand the law with regards to alcohol sales; what constitutes acceptable ID; and how to manage the refusal of underage sales.
