About the CPD course

Learners will discover what it means to feel or think about suicide and why someone might develop those thoughts and feelings. The module helps to dispel the misconceptions which often surround suicide. Learners will complete a scenario activity to help understand how to spot the signs of suicidal feelings and what they should say to someone they are supporting. Then finishing with ideas of how they might be able to support someone in the short and long term should the experience suicidal thoughts and feelings.
