About the CPD course

The identification; evaluation and control of hazards is a cornerstone of workplace health and safety. If we eliminate or control hazards so they pose no serious risks; we have a safe workplace. A successful safety strategy depends on: an organisation’s ability to identify all of the present hazards; an organisation’s ability to implement satisfactory control measures; the level of commitment from personnel to accept the rules; regulations and established safe work practices. Because hazard identification and evaluation (risk assessment) is so important; it is vital that everyone fully understands what a hazard or risk is; and the differences between them.
